SERVICES

Evidence-based prenatal care

Regular prenatal checkups serve to monitor the development of the child and the health of the mother. They offer the opportunity to take timely action if problems arise. Pregnancy is a time of constant development and change for both mother and child. The purpose of prenatal checkups is to carefully observe and document this development. Regular attendance at these appointments increases the likelihood of identifying risks early and taking action if necessary. Maternity guidelines also stipulate that the pregnant woman, and her partner upon request, will be informed and advised about the examination results if medically necessary or advisable measures are required.

Postpartum care

Postpartum care programs with multiple home visits by midwives show very positive effects, particularly regarding breastfeeding success, reduced incidence of postpartum depression, and greater maternal self-confidence. Multiple home visits by midwives thus have great potential for promoting child and family health. iBaby Team is establishing itself as a competent and reliable partner in the German healthcare system and is contributing to the advancement of these care models.

Birth at home

If you wish to have a birth at the clinic, please contact me as early as possible. For birth support and the period of two weeks before and two weeks after the estimated due date, the usual standby fee of €5,900 is waived.

When labor begins, I can provide care at home before you go to the hospital. This allows you to spend part of the first stage of labor in your familiar surroundings. Together, we will decide when it's time to go to the hospital. As labor progresses, you will go to the hospital, and I will be there to support you throughout the birth.

After the birth, I will accompany you and your child during the initial period, until you are transferred to the postpartum ward or, in the case of an outpatient birth, until you go home.

I will also provide care for you at home during the first few months of your postpartum period.

  • Individual decisions based on current scientific findings

  • Increased safety for mother and child

  • Early detection of pregnancy risks

  • Modern prevention and health promotion

  • Interprofessional supervision at university level

  • Combining science, empathy, and clinical experience

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Midwifery Science in 2009 at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy. My professional path then led me to Germany and Switzerland, where I worked as a midwife and midwifery scientist in various clinical settings.

Over the course of my professional development, I assumed leadership responsibilities and managed teams of midwives. My focus was on evidence-based care, interprofessional collaboration, and the continuous improvement of obstetric quality.

During my Master's studies in Neonatology and Obstetrics, I deepened my scientific skills and developed innovative solutions for current challenges in obstetrics and perinatal care.

After successfully completing my Master's degree, I consciously chose to pursue a doctorate in medicine, specializing in gynecology and obstetrics. My research focuses on preeclampsia, a pregnancy-related disorder and one of the most significant maternal and fetal complications during pregnancy.

The scientific work I carried out as part of my doctoral studies required not only analytical thinking but also a high degree of perseverance, precision, and scientific methodology. At the same time, it opened up new perspectives for me regarding the evidence-based development of obstetric care.

Today, I combine scientific research with many years of clinical experience. As a midwifery scientist with a Bachelor's degree in Midwifery, a Master's degree in Neonatology and Obstetrics, a doctorate in Medicine, and postdoctoral experience in evidence-based peritraumatology, I combine academic expertise with practical care.

My goal is to directly integrate current scientific findings into the care of pregnant women, women in labor, and families. My work focuses on individualized, evidence-based, and interprofessional perinatal care, as well as the sustainable promotion of maternal and child health.
